A storytelling workshop with Arley’s Workshop (KZN), that encourages children to tell their own stories. Everyone has stories to share and telling our stories helps to develop a sense of understanding and celebration of ourselves and our families.

The workshop is introduced by a series of games, which encourage self expression, create a playful atmosphere and build trust. The facilitator/s then work with the group in developing storytelling skills. The simplicity of the stories that often emerge, belies the powerful connection that is created with the self and others through the process of sharing the story. Children articulate their uniqueness, and explore their common humanity.
