Mafrika-kie

In a world of ‘numb nay sayers’, one little girl faces her fears and embarks on a journey to find a remedy for the world and its people – she meets elders, fairies, natures elements and discovers the remedy within herself and community. Follow the adventure story of this comical little earth child as she searches for possibilities and remedies – she will captivate your heart and mind.

The show uses multimedia, music and audience interactivity to inspire a powerful audience participation… Although MAfrika-kie is created for an audience demographic of 5-13, it is intended to inspire all ages.

MAfrika-kie is the first installment of Nicola Jackman’s one woman show MAfrika… This show has been in development for 2 years and in 2012 it embarks on a Global tour – twenty countries in twelve months.

This production showcases the myriad of talents of animators, artists, storytellers, musicians and audio-visual artists and although there’s only one performing artist on stage, as a member of the audience you are enthralled, uplifted and inspired to be a pro-active member of society.

With her creative, courageous and uplifting nature, I hope that MAfrika will inspire JOYful possibility in all ages – Nicola Jackman
