Help us bring just a bit of paper to life! Playing with character, sound, and rhythm, together we will explore the world in which our puppets live and work towards devising a short performance for our creatures to showcase their special talents. Using everyday materials such as paper, sticky tape and elastic bands, all participants will have the chance to create their own unique puppet that they will then learn to manipulate using basic puppetry skills. These skills include eye line, breath, expressing emotion, developing character and the voice of a puppet, and how a puppet interacts with its environment. The workshop will culminate in a short performance in small groups where we see different puppets interact with each other and an audience.
