Kismet is an exploration of self in a post 1994 South Africa, as a brother and sister try to propitiate their provocative past, their prolonged prejudices and their imminent, personal perditions. Themes include identity and socio-political scar tissue, religious and cultural constructs as identity indicators, expression of self through creative manifestations and resolving to reconcile oneself with the fact that history is not, and can never be, linear but, rather, a strata-based structure into which we condense ourselves in layers.

It was extremely shocking. I love it! Whether they were your opinions and views, I don’t care but it was so insightful and entertaining. Well done.

It was the first time I saw the true feelings of certain white people living in South Africa being portrayed so bluntly but with integrity. I’ve never seen that before because so many are so afraid to publicize there anger. But it was beautiful. I’m colored.

I’m amazed that two people just ‘being’ can keep me so interested, happy and intrigued. I’m going to recommend it! :)

    The integrity stole my heart!
